18 new drug inspectors in Uttarakhand, where and who got appointment

The Uttarakhand Government has issued appointment orders for 18 new Grade-2 Drug Inspectors in the state. Health Secretary and Head of Food Safety and Drug Administration, Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar, informed that these appointments have been made through the Department of Medical Health & Medical Education and the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission.

Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar announced the appointments of 18 Grade-2 Drug Inspectors through the Public Service Commission.

The newly appointed officers have been posted on a probation period of two years.

The Health Secretary stated that the appointment of these new drug inspectors will enable strict action against counterfeit and illegal drug mafias in Uttarakhand. The government’s main objective is to prevent the sale of substandard and unauthorized drugs in the state.

  • Amit Kumar Azad – Rudraprayag

  • Rishabh Dhama – Tehri

  • Hariom Singh – Haridwar

  • Pankaj Pant – Pithoragarh

  • Pooja Rani – Bageshwar

  • Pooja Joshi – Almora

  • Harita – Champawat

  • Mohd. Tajin – Uttarkashi
