Transfer of officers in Food Safety and Drug Administration Department

Six officers from designated officer turned Deputy Commissioner were posted, charge of many changed

Six officers promoted in the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department have been transferred and assigned new responsibilities. Food Safety and Drug Administration Commissioner Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar stated that these officers, promoted from Designated Officer to Deputy Commissioner, have been entrusted with fresh responsibilities.

He added that the appointments of these officials have received the approval of the Governor. Orders regarding the appointments have been issued by Joint Secretary Arvind Singh Pangti.

Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar informed that Virendra Singh Bisht, who was stationed at the Appellate Tribunal in Dehradun, has now been designated as the Nodal Officer for the Mobile Food and Drug Testing Laboratory in Rudrapur.

Similarly, Ganesh Chandra Kandwal has been assigned to the Dehradun Headquarters, Anoj Kumar Thapliyal to the Appellate Tribunal in Dehradun from Kumaon Division, and Rajendra Singh Rawat has been deployed in the Garhwal Division.

Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar further mentioned that Rajendra Singh Kathayat, previously stationed at the Food Testing Laboratory in Rudrapur, has been assigned to the Kumaon Division, while Ashok Kumar Phuleria has been appointed to the Appellate Tribunal in Haldwani.
