Under the leadership of BJP Metropolitan President Siddharth Umesh Agarwal, BJP candidate Saurabh Thapliyal conducted public outreach programs and meetings at various locations in Dehradun today, January 16, 2025.

Metropolitan President’s Appeal:
Metropolitan President Siddharth Umesh Agarwal appealed to all traders in Paltan Bazaar to support and vote for Saurabh Thapliyal. He emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party stands shoulder to shoulder with all trader brothers. Highlighting the saffron transformation of Paltan Bazaar, he credited this to the collective efforts of the trading community.

MLA Khajan Das’s Statement:
Rajpur MLA Khajan Das urged traders and the public to vote for Saurabh Thapliyal. He praised the BJP’s decision to field a humble and honest candidate and expressed confidence that Thapliyal’s leadership would transform Dehradun into a model city.

Candidate Saurabh Thapliyal’s Address:
BJP candidate Saurabh Thapliyal appealed to the traders, stating that he considers himself not as a mayoral candidate but as a servant of the people. He promised to prioritize issues such as roads, electricity, water, and sanitation. Additionally, he vowed to make Dehradun a drug-free city.

During his visit to Ward 44’s Valmiki Basti in the Cantonment Assembly, Thapliyal paid tribute to Maharishi Valmiki and reiterated his commitment to working alongside every individual in society. He highlighted BJP’s efforts in providing permanent housing to thousands and pledged to continue working towards the regularization of settlements. He assured that through strategic planning and schemes, permanent housing solutions would be achieved.

Confidence in Victory:
Thapliyal expressed confidence that with the overwhelming support of the people, the BJP would succeed in the municipal board elections and deliver on its promises.
