BJP Mayoral Candidate Saurabh Thapliyal Receives Support from Various Organizations of Dehradun

On January 18, 2025, during the election campaign, several organizations from the city of Dehradun extended their support to BJP’s mayoral candidate, Saurabh Thapliyal. A meeting was held in which all office bearers of the IMA Blood Bank Society of Uttarakhand showed their support.

Organizations like:

• Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh
• Doon Hotel Restaurant Association
• Doon Valley Industrial Business Association

and many others participated in coordination meetings, where all office bearers pledged their full support to Saurabh Thapliyal, BJP’s mayoral candidate.

During the meeting, Saurabh Thapliyal expressed his gratitude to all the attendees for their overwhelming affection and said, “I humbly bow to all of you for your support. I assure you that I want to bring a new revolution to the city of Dehradun and serve the people. I have spent my childhood in this city and have been the president of the student union. I have always been with the students, addressing their issues. I want to assure everyone that the Bharatiya Janata Party is working continuously to improve the living and economic standards of every section and individual of society, and my goal is aligned with that. The party’s slogan is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,’ and I am committed to addressing all basic issues in Dehradun under this mantra.”

Saurabh Thapliyal highlighted his agenda for Dehradun:

• Improving the drainage system
• Making all wards of Dehradun green zones
• Creating beautiful parks for the elderly, pedestrian parks, and open gyms for youth
• Ensuring better health through cycling parks for the city, as many people use cycling for fitness

He assured that any issues faced by the organizations in their respective areas would be addressed through the Dehradun Municipal Corporation, and he would continue to serve as a devoted public servant.

He concluded with, “I am confident that with your blessings, the Bharatiya Janata Party candidates will win with a majority in the upcoming elections, and we will be able to form a strong board. With your support, I will get the opportunity to serve as a public servant.”
