PM Yoga Awards 2025: Nominations Open for Prestigious Recognition
New Delhi, February 17, 2025
The Ministry of AYUSH has announced the opening of nominations for the Prime Minister’s Yoga Awards (PM Yoga Awards) 2025, as part of the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025 celebrations. These awards recognize individuals and organizations for their outstanding and consistent contributions to the promotion and development of yoga at the national and international levels.
Award Categories and Prizes
The awards will be presented in the following four categories:
- National Individual
- National Organization
- International Individual
- International Organization
Each winner will receive a trophy, certificate, and a cash prize of ₹25 lakh.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individual nominees must be 40 years or older.
- They must have at least 20 years of dedicated experience in the promotion of yoga.
- Organizations can apply directly or be nominated by a recognized yoga institution.
- Each applicant/nominee can apply in only one category per year (National or International).
Application Process
- Nominations must be submitted via the MyGov platform:

Screening and Selection
- A Screening Committee will review all applications and shortlist up to 50 candidates per category.
- A high-level Jury comprising eminent personalities from various fields will evaluate and finalize the winners.
