Uttarakhand State Primary Teachers Association Raipur Executive met the BEO after the first meeting

The first meeting of the newly elected Uttaranchal State Primary Teachers Association (Raipur Unit) was held with all 21 members present. The executive committee pledged to work with full dedication for the betterment of education and teachers’ rights. After the meeting, a courtesy call was made to Block Education Officer Raipur, Hemlata Gaur, where various issues related to teachers’ interests were discussed.

The meeting took place at Padam Singh Shikshak Bhawan, Racecourse, under the chairmanship of newly elected President Arvind Singh Solanki. It was conducted by newly elected Minister Vinod Singh Aswal, who assured that the executive body would work with full commitment toward teachers’ welfare.

Key Discussions and Demands Raised:

  • Resolution of pending issues within this month.
  • Full payment of retired teachers’ dues by March 31.
  • Ensuring arrear payments in April-May.
  • Completion and review of service books and GPF passbooks for every teacher by May.
  • Stopping unnecessary interference of NGOs in schools.
  • Ensuring adequate arrangements for online tasks.
  • Exempting senior, ailing, and single-parent teachers from election duties.

During the meeting, President Arvind Singh Solanki emphasized that the Uttaranchal State Primary Teachers Association is the largest employee organization in the state, and it is a matter of great honor for all the elected representatives. He also briefed the newly elected members on the association’s constitution and urged them to work in accordance with its principles.
