Education Minister angry over delay in appointment process on CRP-BRP and class IV posts

Teachers who have been absent for a long time should be dismissed: Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat

School Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has directed the dismissal of government school teachers who have been absent for an extended period. He also instructed officials to ensure that Class 10 and 12 board examinations are conducted fairly and transparently, without any malpractice. Additionally, he emphasized the need to expedite the recruitment process for CRP, BRP, and fourth-class employees.

During a review meeting held at his official residence on Tuesday, Dr. Rawat ordered action against teachers who have been absent from schools for a long time. He also stressed that board exam results should be declared on time without any delays.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the delay in recruitments, Dr. Rawat sought a report on the progress of CRP-BRP and fourth-class employee appointments and directed officials to accelerate the hiring process.

Furthermore, he instructed officials to ensure the prompt deployment of teachers in primary and secondary education.

The meeting was attended by Director General of School Education Jharna Kamthan, SCERT Director Vandana Garbyal, Director of Primary Education R.K. Uniyal, Acting Director of Secondary Education S.B. Joshi, Additional Director Dr. Mukul Sati, Samagra Shiksha APD Kuldeep Gairola, and other department officials.
