Educational Tour: Education Minister understood the education system of Lakshadweep along with the department’s team

School Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat is on a four-day educational tour of Lakshadweep along with his departmental team. On Wednesday, the first day of the visit, he observed the academic system, teaching methodology, and infrastructure of schools on Agatti Island.
He visited the schools, interacted with principals and teachers, and held detailed discussions on education quality and innovations. He also engaged with students to understand their learning experiences.
Under the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Minister Dr. Rawat mentioned that he will be on the Lakshadweep tour until March 22. Along with the departmental team, he will study Lakshadweep’s education model, focusing on innovation in education, academic technology, teacher training, and evaluation systems.
Observations on the First Day
On the first day, he visited Government Senior Secondary School and Government Junior Basic School on Agatti Island. He interacted with principals and teachers to gather insights into:
- Educational system and teaching methodology
- Curriculum and infrastructure
- Various academic activities conducted in the schools
Additionally, he engaged with students to discuss their learning processes and academic activities.
