According to AIIMS Rishikesh, many women do not visit hospitals due to hesitation regarding their health issues, which can lead to serious complications over time. The Urology Department of AIIMS Rishikesh has advised them to visit the Female Pelvic Clinic.
Dr. Ankur Mittal, Head of the Department, stated that a dedicated Female Pelvic Medicine and Neuro-Urology Clinic is conducted every Tuesday from 2 PM to 4 PM for the treatment of urinary diseases.
This clinic operates on the third floor in the Urology OPD, where experienced urologists treat various female patients’ issues.
Dr. Mittal emphasized that timely diagnosis and treatment can completely cure these problems. He also mentioned that the department has successfully performed surgeries on over 200 women suffering from urinary disorders, providing them with health benefits.
