Municipal elections: Congress expelled these people from the party in Doiwala and Rishikesh.

Mohan Uniyal, the district president of the Congress Committee Parva Doon, Dehradun, has expelled individuals associated with the Congress organization for six years due to their involvement in anti-party activities during the municipal elections of Rishikesh Municipal Corporation and Doiwala Municipal Council.

In a press release, Uniyal stated that Dinesh Chandra Master, Mahendra Singh, and former acting president of Rishikesh Congress, Sudhir Rai, were expelled for six years from the Congress organization for engaging in anti-party activities by contesting against the official Congress mayoral candidate, Deepak Jatav, in the Rishikesh Municipal Corporation elections.

Similarly, in the Doiwala Municipal Council elections, Rajveer Khatri, who contested against the party’s official candidate, Sagar Manwal, has also been expelled for six years.

Uniyal added that a list is being prepared of individuals involved in anti-Congress activities and those contesting against party candidates in various wards during the local body elections. Strict action will soon be taken against them.
