
Raipur (Chhattisgarh), December 21
The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), Dehradun Chapter, honored Chhattisgarh’s Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma in Raipur. On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister was presented with a memento of Shri Kedarnath, a Brahmakamal cap, and a booklet based on the development of Uttarakhand.
The national convention of PRSI is being organized in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, from December 20 to 23. Members of the Dehradun Chapter are also participating in this convention.
The President of PRSI Dehradun Chapter, Ravi Bijaraniya, Secretary Anil Sati, Treasurer Suresh Bhatt, and Vice President A.M. Tripathi felicitated the Deputy Chief Minister. They informed him about the winter pilgrimage initiative for the winter abodes of Uttarakhand’s Char Dham, launched under the leadership of Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. They invited the Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh to experience the winter pilgrimage in Uttarakhand.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma expressed gratitude to PRSI for the honor. He appreciated Uttarakhand’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Sharing memories of his time in Uttarakhand, he said that every citizen of the country holds immense reverence for the Devbhoomi (Land of the Gods).
A film based on Uttarakhand’s development works was screened during the event. Additionally, the Uttarakhand Information Department’s development booklet titled “Sankalp Satat Vikas Ka” (Resolution for Sustainable Development) was distributed.
The Brahmakamal cap, symbolizing Uttarakhand’s rich cultural heritage and traditions, garnered special recognition at the PRSI National Convention.
All members of PRSI Dehradun wore the Brahmakamal cap during the convention and gifted it to participants from other states. Delegates from different states appreciated the cap, which beautifully incorporates the design of Brahmakamal, Uttarakhand’s state flower. The cap not only reflects the rich culture of Uttarakhand but also connects the wearer to their roots.
PRSI National President Dr. Ajit Pathak, along with PRSI Dehradun members Vaibhav Goyal, Anil Verma, Ajay Dabral, Mahesh, Deepak Kumar, Ishan, and Kajal, were present at the event.
