Press Release

Cervical Cancer Vaccination Camp Organized by Ayush Foundation Trust

Under the guidance of Dr. Tejaswi Mathur, Dr. Bandita Pandey, and the team from Premsukh Hospital, a Cervical Cancer Vaccination Camp was organized today at Akhil Bharatiya Mahila Ashram by the Ayush Foundation Trust.

In her address, Dr. Tejaswi Mathur emphasized that cases of cervical cancer among women are rising rapidly in today’s time. Therefore, it is essential that young women receive timely vaccination to prevent this life-threatening disease. She assured that the vaccine is completely safe and highly effective, and advised the girls present to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle to avoid such illnesses.

Shri Sanjeev Mishra, Director of Ayush Foundation, stated that cancer is spreading so fast that often people don’t get a chance to recover, and countless families have already lost loved ones to this disease. Although the vaccine is available in the market, its high cost makes it unaffordable for poor families. Thus, Ayush Foundation has decided to provide free cervical cancer vaccination for girls from underprivileged backgrounds.

In December, 91 girls were given their first dose, and today, they received their second dose. Additionally, 40 new girls received their first dose during the camp.
