Press Release: Tribute Ceremony and Memorial Events on the Sixth Death Anniversary of Late Umesh Agarwal Ji

On June 9, 2025, a Tribute Ceremony and Memorial Discussion were organized at Dehra Public Inter College, Banjarawala, under the Dharampur Assembly constituency, on the occasion of the sixth death anniversary of the senior BJP leader and former Metropolitan President, Late Shri Umesh Agarwal Ji.

The program was graced by senior members of the society, representatives of prominent social organizations, office bearers of political parties, and public representatives. Together, they shed light on important aspects of the life and contributions of Late Umesh Agarwal Ji.

Many attendees shared personal experiences and memories spent with the late leader. Dr. Aditya Kumar and the Principal of the college, Mr. M. S. Rathore, were also notably present at the event.

Dr. Aditya Kumar and Metropolitan President Siddharth Umesh Agarwal remarked that Late Umesh Agarwal Ji always embodied the spirit of “The family is greater than the self, society is greater than the family, and service to mankind is service to God.” He cared deeply for the welfare of party workers till his last breath.

He served the BJP as a true soldier, holding roles such as:

  • State Spokesperson, Uttarakhand

  • Hon’ble Chairman (with Ministerial Rank), Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam

  • Patron, Doon Udyog Vyapar Mandal

  • State Working President, International Vaishya Federation

He actively contributed to various social, political, and spiritual organizations, playing a significant role in the progress of the nation.

We all remember and draw inspiration from his life filled with struggle, sacrifice, altruism, and service. His compassionate legacy will continue to inspire us to stay connected with his ideals.

On this occasion, the Umesh Agarwal Foundation distributed gifts to school children in loving memory of the late leader.

As part of the death anniversary observance:

  • A tree plantation drive was conducted at Coronation Hospital, District Dehradun, in Rajpur Assembly, where fruits were also distributed to patients wishing them a speedy recovery.

  • In the Nawada Gaushala (cow shelter) under Raipur Assembly, a collective service activity was conducted.

  • A Tribute Assembly was held at Sanatan Dharma Sabha Temple in Prem Nagar, where participants paid floral homage and reflected on the philanthropic life of Late Umesh Agarwal Ji.

Today, every BJP worker residing in Dehradun carries the memory of his work and lifestyle in their hearts, drawing inspiration to advance the party’s mission with dedication.
