Dehradun, June 28, 2025: In view of continuous heavy rainfall and landslide warnings in Uttarakhand, the Chardham Yatra has been suspended for one day as a precautionary measure prioritizing pilgrim safety.
According to a statement shared by Uttarakhand DIPR on social media, quoting Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey, the decision was made considering the prevailing weather conditions and the need to prevent any risk to human lives.
