Tree Plantation Drive on Harela Festival by Mantram Sanstha at Social Baluni School

On the occasion of Harela, a traditional festival of Uttarakhand, a tree plantation drive was organized at Social Baluni School, Haridwar Bypass, Dehradun under the campaign “A Tree in the Name of Mother” by Mantram Sanstha. Various types of fruit-bearing saplings were planted during the event.

The Chief Guest of the program was Shri Shyam Agrawal, State Minister (Status), and the Special Guest was Mr. Vipin Baluni, Manager of Baluni School. Mr. Madhusudan Joshi, President of Mantram Sanstha, and Mr. Vivek Panwar presided over the event.

Shri Shyam Agrawal stated that the Harela festival is a symbol of greenery in Uttarakhand and tree plantation is essential for environmental protection. He further mentioned that the government is making various efforts towards environmental conservation and public participation is crucial in these initiatives. He appreciated Mantram Sanstha’s commendable efforts in this direction.

President of the organization, Mr. Madhusudan Joshi, emphasized that we must plant a tree during any auspicious event at home, such as birthdays or ceremonies, to truly contribute to environmental conservation.

Program Chairperson Mr. Vivek Panwar praised Mantram Sanstha’s plantation campaign.

Notable attendees included Hemlata Joshi, Kuldeep Pant, Tilak Raj Gupta, Vikas Rana, Vipin Kamboj, Arnav Panyuli, Neeraj Raturi, Rituraj, Rajan Rana, Aman, Ayaan Juneja, along with students of the school.
