Dehradun, June 21, 2025: The State Election Commission has issued a notification for the three-tier Panchayat General Elections in 12 districts of Uttarakhand, excluding Haridwar. State Election Commissioner Sushil Kumar informed that the general elections for the three-tier Panchayats will be conducted in two phases.
The nomination process will begin on June 25, 2025, and voting will take place on July 10 and July 15, with vote counting on July 19, 2025.
With this announcement, the Model Code of Conduct has been enforced in all areas except urban regions and Haridwar district. It will remain effective until the completion of the counting process.
In a press conference, the State Election Commissioner said that District Magistrates and District Panchayat Election Officers will issue a detailed notification on June 23, 2025, covering territorial constituencies and reservation details for Panchayat Members, Gram Pradhans (village heads), Block Panchayat Members, and District Panchayat Members.
