Uttarakhand: School Education Department will create Manav Sampada Portal, transfer of teachers and personnel will be online.

Dehradun.
A Human Resources Portal will soon be created for the maintenance of complete data of teachers and non-teaching staff working in the Department of School Education, where the entire service record of the personnel will be securely stored. With the aim of connecting the new generation with Indian knowledge traditions, one residential model school will be established in each district.

On Thursday, Uttarakhand’s School Education Minister, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, held a review meeting of the Education Department at his office located in the Legislative Assembly.

He directed the departmental officials to create the ‘Human Resources’ portal to store the complete service record of all teachers and non-teaching staff. He stated that, under the New Education Policy-2020, transfers of teachers and staff will also be done online, and for this, it is essential to have all personnel data available on one platform.

The Education Minister said that the Human Resources portal is an excellent option, where the entire service record of any staff member can be accessed with a single click. This will ensure transparency in transfers and promotions while also saving time.

The Minister also mentioned that standards would be set for identifying one residential school in each district. These schools will offer quality education while incorporating traditional education and Indian culture. The school will need to have adequate land and other basic facilities. Students from classes 6 to 12 will be admitted to these schools.

Dr. Rawat also stated that under the NCC expansion scheme, an NCC unit will be established in one school of each block. He has instructed officials to select the schools for this purpose.

During the meeting, progress was discussed regarding the selection of PM-SHRI and Cluster Schools, as well as the deployment of teachers in Atal Excellence Schools. Additionally, the reconstruction and repair of dilapidated buildings of primary and secondary schools were also reviewed. Instructions were given to prepare and submit the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for such schools to the government at the earliest.
