Parking construction is underway at the Kabul House site near Survey Chowk, adjacent to the Karanpur Police Post in Dehradun city. The ground is being leveled to make it suitable for parking purposes.
Meanwhile, vehicles have already started parking in the under-construction parking area, providing relief to people from the inconvenience of finding parking spots.
Under the direction of District Magistrate Savin Bansal, the district administration is identifying new parking locations in the city to ensure smooth traffic flow and reduce congestion. As part of this initiative, a parking area spanning 9,988.304 square meters is being developed at Kabul House, with a capacity to accommodate approximately 300 vehicles. This project, costing around ₹99.35 lakh, is progressing rapidly.
