Press Release: BJP Mayoral Candidate Saurabh Thapliyal Begins Campaign Day with Blessings

Today, January 20, 2025, BJP mayoral candidate for Dehradun, Saurabh Thapliyal, began his day with prayers at the Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple.

Under the leadership of Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Saurabh Thapliyal was welcomed by the Gorkhali Sudhar Sabha with the traditional Gorkhali cap. The committee president expressed long-standing familiarity with Thapliyal and assured full support from the Sabha. The event also saw participation from Mandal President Jyoti Kotia, Bhavna Sharma, and other committee members.

Visit to DAV PG College:
At DAV PG College, Saurabh Thapliyal met Principal Dr. Sunil Kumar and other faculty members to seek their blessings. Reflecting on his political journey, Thapliyal credited his gurus and his experiences at DAV College for shaping his career. He reminisced about his time in student politics, where he addressed student issues through movements and served as General Secretary and President of the Student Union. He expressed his hope for continued blessings from the faculty for the upcoming municipal elections, emphasizing his dedication to serving Dehradun.
