State building agitators will get pension from treasury

Dehradun, January 20, 2025 – District Magistrate Savin Bansal announced that state agitators will now receive their pensions through the treasury system, similar to the freedom fighters’ pensioners. Starting from March 2025 (to be disbursed in April 2025), pensions for state agitators will be paid regularly through the treasury.
Important Instructions for State Agitators:
The DM has requested all identified state agitators and their dependents in Dehradun district to submit their documents to either the District Magistrate’s office or their respective Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s office.
Agitators are required to complete Form-01 (Pension Payment Order – PPO) and Form-02 and submit them no later than February 10, 2025. This will ensure that the necessary information is compiled and forwarded to the treasury in a timely manner.
