GPS Ramgarh SMC Meeting
Dehradun, July 5, 2025 – After the summer vacation, a meeting of the School Management Committee (SMC) for the month of July was held on Saturday at Government Primary School (GPS) Ramgarh. During the meeting, stationery provided by a generous donor (who requested to remain anonymous) was distributed to 106 students of the school. The distribution was carried out by the SMC Chairperson, Seema.

Discussion was held on the academic progress of the students and the holiday homework given during the summer break.

In view of the monsoon season, the School Disaster Management Plan was discussed to prevent, reduce, and manage disasters.

The “STOP Diarrhoea Campaign” was discussed as a preventive measure against diarrhoea.

Topics related to scholarships and online applications for admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya were deliberated.

The issue of irregular student attendance was also raised.
Distribution of Stationery from a Generous Donor
In the meeting, the stationery provided by a benevolent person (who wished to remain anonymous) was distributed to 106 students. The distribution was done by the SMC Chairperson Seema. On this occasion, the school principal, Arvind Singh Solanki, expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards the donor, stating that in today’s time, when many people work merely for recognition, it is heartening to see such noble individuals who have contributed without seeking credit.
The donor provided each student with five notebooks, one drawing file, a pencil, an eraser, sketch pens, and wax colors.
The principal extended thanks on behalf of all students, teachers, and parents. He also thanked the two teachers who played an instrumental role in facilitating this noble act.
