Kashipur: The Indian Vaishya Federation has supported the candidacy of Shakti Prakash Agarwal and demanded that the BJP state leadership grant him the ticket for the Kashipur mayoral seat. In a press conference held in Kashipur, the federation’s office bearers stated that Shakti Prakash is a strong contender for the ticket.
At a hotel on Bazpur Road in Kashipur, federation members including Saurabh Agarwal, Ram Prakash Agarwal, Satyam Agarwal, Navdeep Vishnoi, Pushp Agarwal, Sachin Agarwal, Manish Agarwal, and Sumit Agarwal demonstrated their solidarity in support of Shakti Prakash and urged the BJP to nominate him for the mayoral post. They claimed that there is growing public support for Shakti Prakash in Kashipur.
Meanwhile, the Sarrafa and Swarnkar Association has also extended its support to Shakti Prakash, demanding that the BJP field him as the mayoral candidate. Shakti Prakash is the secretary of the Sarrafa and Swarnkar Association.
Businessman Shakti Prakash expressed his confidence, stating, “I am a loyal worker of the party and deserve the ticket. I believe the party will seriously consider my name and am confident that they will nominate me.”
He further shared, “My grandfather, Lala Ramniwas, served as the chairman of Kashipur Municipality twice. During his tenure as chairman before independence, he made remarkable contributions to Kashipur’s development. Like my grandfather, I have also played an active role in politics, participating in various elections and political programs as a dedicated worker, serving the people selflessly.”
