Officials Directed to Expedite Disposal of Cases Under Sections 166, 167: DM

District Magistrate (DM) Savin Bansal held a review meeting late in the evening at the Rishiparna Auditorium, Collectorate, to assess the status of revenue cases under Sections 166, 167, 154, and 157. The DM instructed officials to ensure the timely and systematic resolution of pending cases in the tehsils.

The DM emphasized that all Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) must submit weekly reports detailing actions taken and the status of resolved cases.

For cases where concerned individuals are untraceable, the DM directed that notices be served through newspaper publications to facilitate case resolution. He urged officials to handle this task with utmost seriousness.

In strict terms, the DM ordered that all pending cases under the mentioned sections be resolved within one month. Additionally, he instructed that effective service of notices be ensured, and updates on the progress of case resolutions be regularly uploaded on Google Sheets.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Jaybharat Singh, Deputy Headquarters Officer Shalini Negi, and SDM Vikasnagar Vinod Kumar. SDMs Harigiri (Sadar), Aparna Dhoundiyal (Doiwala), and Smriti Parmar (Rishikesh) joined virtually.
